Mouth of the Klamath River

Without a Healthy River and a Healthy Environment, Yurok People Would Sease to Exist, Louisa McCovey, the Yurok Tribe Environmental Director.

The Yurok people are engaged in restoring their environment, cleaning the river to recover the salmon runs of yesterdays.

There is a generation of Yuroks who are committed to their ancestral purpose in life, to restore the Earth.

Empowered by the struggle of their ancestors and driven by civil disobedience, they regained their legal rights to fish and forced the removal of the Copco Dams.

This is an important film narrated by a Yurok couple, who are engaged to provide a better future for their children.

Enjoy!
